Should drop Blackmail politics, such as protests and cooperate in investigation - BJP
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued summons against Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case and today Rahul Gandhi attended the proceedings with the marches.
In the wake of this, the Congress is leading the protest, accusing the ruling BJP of misusing power.
The state BJP slamed Congress act, which held a media conference today. Speaking on the occasion, Higher Education Minister Dr.Ashwathanarayan.C.N said, “The investigation into the allegations of the National Herald scam on Mrs.Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi has been handed over to the Directorate of Enforcement in 2011. But today, by protesting as politically motivated, they are going to convey the message that they are bigger than the law, which is condemnable.
Should drop Blackmail politics, such as protests and go hand in hand and cooperate with the investigation. There is a lack of morality and honesty amongst the handheld leaders who have been hanging around like a pumpkin nut thief before the truth came out. Such an anti-law attitude is contrary to democratic aspirations ”, said the minister Dr.Ashwathanarayan.
It's said that, all party MPs have been instructed to present today in national capital to protest. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today arrived at the ED office in a procession with party leaders and activists.
